Pues el que suscribe lleva ya tiempo esperando a la supuesta revisión del molinillo.

Thank you so much for getting back in touch, and I hope you've had a wonderful summer as well!

The new 80 burr set and the revised PCS are both still under active development and being refined as we go, so I honestly don't have much more I can share right now. As soon as there's something more concrete, we'll be happy to share it publicly. On the Grind-by-Weight platform, we haven't heard anything on our end, so I can't really confirm or deny that rumor either.

Regarding the adjustment dial, I’ll definitely pass your feedback on to the team. There aren’t any plans to change the adjustment mechanism in the short term, but it’s something we can keep in mind for future development.

As for the burr removal tool, we haven’t developed a dedicated tool for this, but heavy-duty magnets work well for removing the burrs. If needed, you can search for “Magnet Holder” or “Hook Magnet Holder” on Amazon or eBay. We recommend a magnetic strength of around 35–100 lbs (15–45 kg), with 25 kg / 50 lbs working well.

Regarding the stalling you mentioned with third-party burrs, one factor is that part of the pre-crushing function is integrated into the Mizen 80OM burrs themselves. When switching to other burrs, that additional pre-crushing function is no longer present, which can affect feeding and torque behavior with certain burrs and coffees. This is also something we’re looking to address with the new PCS.
